Juan Yruela Castillo is a Master of Architecture from Seville Architecture University (ETSAS), and performed the Final Master Degree project in Madrid Politechnic University (ETSAM) under the guidance if his Master and Mentor, Alberto Campo Baeza.
During his first professional years he worked under the world-class architect Alberto Campo Baeza, performing a series of renown projects in Spain.
In his early years as an architect, he won a few design prizes and left a wonderful legacy of projects and designs in Spain, where he worked for 10 years.
During his professional career, he has worked on many projects worldwide like Portugal, Morocco, Scotland, Turkey, Australia, Vanuatu and China. It was at his arrival in China in 2014 when he performed the awarded Vocational Rehabilitation Service Center for the disabled in Foshan. He also specialized in high-class residential architecture projects for particular clients.
As an Interior Designer, he took the leading role in the design and the construction of the BFC Shanghai’s Bund financial Center underground shopping mall as a flagship work of his Interior Design career in Shanghai.
In addition to his role as a designer, he continued to pursue his academic exploration and served as a lecturer at JI Michigan Jiaotong University in Shanghai and XJTLU University in Suzhou. As a Lecturer and leading students he has also taken part in architecture competitions, bringing students into the professional field.
